This is one of Manchester's more well known tourist attractions, and with good reason.
The supremely dark neo-Gothic building was built by Mrs Rylands to house her late husband's enormous collection of theological texts in a place which would be accessible to all, not just members of the Church of England.
I'm very pleased with a few of these photos. Watch out for the finished versions on Flickr.
